Job summary

Pengate Handling Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support in-house shop technicians and daily warehouse operations. You will assist with shipping/receiving, verify outgoing orders, and move forklifts throughout the facility, while performing basic maintenance on forklift batteries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload forklifts and equipment.
• Prepare, stage, and verify equipment for shipments.
• Check orders against shipping docs for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts to move materials in the warehouse.
• Perform maintenance on forklift batteries (charging, watering, cleaning, testing).
• Conduct routine forklift inspections for damage or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse environment.
• Support movement and coordination of company vehicles as needed.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as assigned.
