Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lancaster, PA is hiring a Material Handler / Forklift Operator. The role offers a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, 6:00 am–6:00 pm, and weekly pay. You will work with sit-down forklifts, handling food products in a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year warehouse experience, and a valid forklift license. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
