Job summary

NXTPoint Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate to safely operate forklift and other MHE to move, stack, and pick merchandise. You will support shipping, receiving, inventory, and packaging in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires adherence to OSHA standards, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and prior experience operating equipment. This position is based in a warehouse in Wisconsin and offers full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months verifiable work experience in the prior 36 months operating material handling equipment as required by role (sit down/stand up forklift, reach truck, cherry/order picker, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards including daily inspection and maintenance.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered MHE equipped with lifting devices (to include; forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch or motorized pallet rider).
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading and shipments.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Perform pick and pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure proper inventory control and security measures are followed and maintained.
• May assist in physical inventories.
