Our client, ManpowerGroup, seeks a Warehouse Associate in Portsmouth, VA, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment. You will support warehouse operations including packing, labeling, and system transactions for receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments.

The role emphasizes forklift experience, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and adherence to SOPs. Shift is 10:00 AM–6:30 PM with occasional overtime, and an initial four-month duration to establish reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform basic math and read, understand, and use written operating procedures.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified (company provided).
• Ability to operate rolling pushcart, electric forklift, and manual pallet jack.
• Lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs and stand/crouch for extended periods safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to support warehouse movement, including packaging and labeling of customer orders.
• Use computer systems to process receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments accurately and on time.
• Inspect incoming product and verify against the shipping manifest for accuracy.
• Elevate inventory discrepancies to inventory control or management for resolution and follow through with next steps.
• Work with QA teams to disposition incoming product according to quality requirements.
