Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. in Fairview, Oregon, is seeking three Forklift Test Drivers for a six-month contract. Positions available on second shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.) and third shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

Responsibilities include test-driving forklifts, logging observations, and performing light maintenance while adhering to safety procedures and instructions. Prior forklift or heavy equipment driving experience is preferred.

Forklift Test Driver – Contract Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has a contract position opening for three forklift test drivers in our Fairview, Oregon facility. HYMH designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks under the Hyster (http://www.nmhg.com/brands/hyster/) and Yale (http://www.nmhg.com/brands/yale/) brand names.

We are seeking qualified applicants to test drive forklifts. This position involves reliability and validation testing of prototype and production forklifts.

The following positions are currently available for a 6 month period:

1 positions for Second shift – Monday through Friday (3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.)

May involve possible weekend overtime when testing projects are in high demand.

1 position for Third shift - Sunday through Thursday (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)

May involve possible weekend overtime when testing projects are in high demand.

Job description:
