Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator in Chicago, IL. The role requires operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, driving an automatic box truck, and maintaining warehouse accuracy.

Candidates should have a valid license and at least two years in a warehouse setting, with proficiency in Excel/Word and basic MRP systems. The position offers a 5:00am–3:30pm schedule, with overtime and weekends, and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience.
• Experience driving an automatic box truck.
• 2+ years in a warehouse setting; picking experience a plus.
• Computer literate: Excel and Word; MRP systems a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiar with GMP, SQF, USDA or FDA and safety standards.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Frequent standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maneuvering forklifts safely.
• Stacking and unstacking goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
• Unloading deliveries and relocating goods to storage areas.
• Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods.
• Review shuttle list filled out by Line Leads and Supervisors.
• Transporting product between buildings.
• Picking orders accurately and completing paperwork.
• Maintaining a clean, organized warehouse.
• Recording open or damaged cases and storage.
