Valeo in Kentucky is seeking a Receiving/Shipping Operator to join our physical flows team. The role requires operating a forklift, reading job instructions, and maintaining accurate production records in a climate-controlled environment.

You must be able to lift 20–50 lbs daily, work overtime as needed, and thrive in a team-based setting while adhering to safety and quality standards. This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with overtime.
• Read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Reliable, proactive and quality‑driven.
• Able to perform repetitive duties while standing.
• Able to lift 20–50 lbs daily.
• Team-based collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift truck.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment and machinery as needed.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and fixtures/test equipment.
• Perform self-inspection and stop-scrap activities.
• Update production records and test results.
• Communicate problems to supervisors.
• Identify discrepant materials with supervisor.
• Complete tasks per schedules and standard times.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Wear all necessary PPE.
• Operate handheld technology and basic computer skills.
• Work in a limited climate control environment.
