Eastern Lift Truck Co. in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Forklift Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain forklifts, pallet trucks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts at our local service area.

The ideal candidate has experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment, with skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus welding, a clean driving record, and a customer-focused approach. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Welding / fabricating experience is a plus.
• Customer service skills are essential.

Forklift Repair Technician

Main Duties:

• Diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain equipment including Forklifts, Pallet Trucks, Boom Lifts, and Scissor Lifts
• Provide courteous and professional service
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience as a road mechanic a plus
• Welding / fabricating experience
• Exceptional customer service skill
• Clean driving record
• Stable work history
• Dependable, self-motivated professional

Compensation:

This position is paid hourly with a pay range of $25.00/hr. - $40.00/hr. Compensation is based on experience.
