Job summary

Allstate Beverage Company is seeking a Warehouse Receiver (Forklift Operator) to efficiently unload trucks and perform warehouse maintenance. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and requires forklift experience and certification, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include unloading freight, stocking pick locations, inspecting cases for saleability, and maintaining communication with management and vendors. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to safely unload and load shipments.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight and outbound freight.
• Ensure loads are done accurately and neatly.
• Restock and rework returned beer.
• Visually inspect all cases unloaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.
• Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.
• Report any accidents to manager on duty immediately.
• Upon completion of the unloading of each truck give the receiving report to the Warehouse Manager for verification.
• Prior to the end of your shift each day ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.
• Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck unloading process each day.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification through the company.
• Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company.
• Maintain open and clear communications with the vendors and retailers that do business with the company.
• Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.
• Help second and third shift with the loading of carts/pallet trucks as needed.
• Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.
• Forklift experience required.
