Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking a Warehouse Associate in New Jersey to keep operations running smoothly—receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials with precision and pride. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to Branch Manager. Base pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, full-time with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Forklift experience required
• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe working environment
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs

Education
