Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors is looking for a dependable Helper/Stocker to support branch deliveries. You will assist with safe handling of building materials from the warehouse to delivery locations and help stage products for jobsites.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, verifying materials, and keeping the work area clean and orderly. Forklift operation and ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance are required, with benefits available after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Experience handling building materials or similar inventory is a plus.
• Ability to unload, transport and position materials as required.
• Committed to safety rules and proper handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Distribute and place materials as indicated on orders.
• Examine and record material transported to/from the delivery site.
• Verify quantity and type of materials handled and ensure order accuracy.
• Clean up debris and dispose of it before leaving the site.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move loads.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites; unload and stage products as assigned.
