Job summary

Wilmar LLC is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to pick customer orders and move product within our Kent, WA warehouse. This safety-sensitive role requires operating forklifts and maintaining safe work practices, with pre-employment drug screening as applicable.

Responsibilities include filling orders, retrieving merchandise from bins, and ensuring accuracy. The position offers hourly pay of $21.50 and a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, with benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• One year order picking experience in a warehouse.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions, work orders, and written procedures in English.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders and deliver them to the packing area or loading dock.
• Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method.
• Repair bins as required.
• Ensure that the work area and warehouse are clean and clutter-free at all times.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing and using the proper safety equipment.
• Wear the proper personal protective equipment.
• Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
• Perform duties as workload necessitates.
• Communicate regularly with the Warehouse Managers or Inventory Control on problems with stock location size and changes requested by Wilmar employees.
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
• Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to pick customer orders or move product from shipping, receiving or storage areas to product bins using cherry pickers. This position is designated as safety-sensitive due to the operation of heavy equipment and machinery, including forklifts, and the potential to impact the health and safety of the employee and others. Employees in this role are expected to perform their duties in a safe and unimpaired manner at all times. As a safety-sensitive position, this role is subject to pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to reasonable suspicion and post-incident drug and/or alcohol testing in accordance with Company policy and applicable law. This position requires up to 8-9 hours of movement per shift (Monday through Friday) including standing, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending at the waist, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs per instance.

Requirements

• Ability to commute/relocate to Kent. WA 98032
• One year order picking experience in a warehouse
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions, work orders, and written procedures in English
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to respond to common directions
• Ability to effectively present information to employees for the purpose of clarification or training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
