Job summary

Nourison Home is seeking a Forklift Operator / Pallet Jack Operator for the Domestic Department in our Atlanta warehouse.

You will safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, unload, and transport materials within the Domestic Department, ensuring inventory accuracy and adherence to safety standards. This role requires attentiveness, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification through company training.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and shipping procedures.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload trailers according to shipping and receiving schedules.
• Move finished goods and raw materials to designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for domestic shipments.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and shipment documentation for accuracy.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with company housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
• Support team members and other departments to meet production and shipping goals.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by management.
