Job summary

Star Pipe Products is seeking an Order Puller to support shipping, receiving, stocking, and warehouse maintenance in its Indianapolis distribution center. You will operate a forklift, pull orders, manage inventory, and help maintain safety and efficiency for customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities include handling RF processes, loading/unloading, and ensuring orders meet required dates. Overtime and weekend hours may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1-3 years warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Experience using RF systems and inventory tracking.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pulls orders and packages material for shipment using forklift and other equipment.
• Ships orders to be delivered on the date requested by the customer.
• Receives branch transfers, returns, and overseas containers within tight time frames.
• Maintains clean, safe warehouse and yard environments.
• Safely operates forklifts and follows procedures for equipment care.
• Loads and unloads deliveries and inspects accuracy and quality.
• Performs RF functions to generate bills of lading.
• Accurately pulls orders and stock into correct bins.
• Communicates issues such as equipment damage or safety concerns to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
