Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Wilmington, IL is hiring a Material Handler. The role offers weekly pay and excellent benefits, with a $21.00 per hour base and a 3% raise after 1 year. Schedule: A Shift Sun–Tue 5:00am–4:30pm, Wed 5:00am–10:45am.

You will work with electric sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners in a clean facility, handling food products and performing loading, picking, packing, and shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license certified.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
