Triton Metal Products in Hamilton, IN is seeking a Material Handler to safely move materials, load/unload deliveries, and stage parts for machine operators. You will use forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment in a fast-paced facility while ensuring accurate WIP IDs and timely material flow.

The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to support production. Competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, walkies, and other material handling equipment
• Stage materials for machine operators according to job travelers, production schedules, and work orders
• Band, wrap, label, and prepare materials for both internal and external customers
• Support production team with steady, timely material flow to avoid downtime
• Validate system accuracy of WIP ID and work closely with the foreman to ensure operators have work staged at their machines

Full Job Description:

• Safely move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, walkies, and other material handling equipment
• Stage materials for machine operators according to job travelers, production schedules, and work orders
• Band, wrap, label, and prepare materials for both internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of raw materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
• Experience as a material handler or warehouse worker (manufactured environment preferred)
• Basic understanding of inventory processes, work orders, job travelers, and WIP ID

Required Qualifications:

• Able to manage tasks without micromanagement
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. and operate pallet jacks
