Job summary

Batteries Plus is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate material handling equipment and support daily DC operations in Glendale, WI. You will help keep inventory organized, shipments on schedule, and the warehouse running smoothly.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, moving goods, loading/unloading trucks, inspecting equipment, and maintaining a clean work area while following PPE and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of equipment operation experience.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and communicate clearly.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate machinery for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack, and organize goods to maintain warehouse flow and stability.
• Support inbound and outbound operations, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Rotate stock and perform basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
• Flex between warehouse tasks and assist team members as needed.
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures - PPE required!
