Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Chantilly, USA, is seeking a Material Handler-Warehouse Operator to operate forklift equipment for shipping, receiving and picking. You will count, inspect, and stage products, report damages, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading outbound shipments, unloading inbound goods, accurate order loading, and maintaining equipment with active forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (forklift, etc.).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Operate gas or electric forklifts to load outbound shipments.
• Unload inbound shipments and locate products in storage.
• Accurately pick orders and stage products.
• Verify products meet quality standards and document discrepancies.
• Follow safety, housekeeping and OSHA/MSDS standards.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts and other equipment daily.
• Perform maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required, including overtime.
