Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Romulus, MI to move pallets and materials through the warehouse and support production. The role requires operating forklift equipment safely, hand-sorting pallets when needed, repairing pallets, and keeping the work area clean and safe.

Pay is $19.00 per hour with a shift from Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification (preferred), and 1–3 years of forklift experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • 1-3 years of forklift experience.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
  • Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
  • Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required.
  • Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required.
  • Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
