Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers in Minooka, Illinois. The role offers weekly pay, benefits, and a pathway to a lasting career in a safety-first supply chain environment.

Positions include 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm) with possible Saturdays and occasional extended hours during peak seasons. Training is provided, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and employee discounts.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance guidelines of the contract and maintain accuracy.
• Ensure correct picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse operations (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours.

Position Description

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $22 per hour ($21.50 base pay + $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift)
• Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm & some Saturdays may be required
• During busy season, could work 4:00pm - 4:00am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
