Ryder System, Inc. in Frankfort, Indiana is hiring a Material Handler / Warehouse Forklift Operator. Pay is $21.00 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour, weekly. Shifts include evenings and varying schedules with comprehensive benefits and paid training.

The role involves forklift operation, loading/unloading, packing, shipping, and cycle counting in a safety-focused environment. Candidates should have forklift certification and warehouse experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork like picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Monday - Tuesday 4:30pm - 3:00am and Friday - Saturday 5:30am - 4:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
