Job summary

Akhire is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator for a full-time role in Fairbanks, AK. The position runs 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with pay at $23 per hour DOE plus overtime.

Summary

Warehouse Associate position spends most of the day using a forklift to offload product, and organize the outside yard to be loading on the outgoing trucks.

Requirements

Certificates/Licenses:

• Forklift Certification preferred but not required

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Must be able to push or pull heavy loads (up to 200 pounds)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to operate all equipment in a warehouse which may include grasping, climbing, bending, handling, reaching, hand dexterity, feeling/touching and repetitive motions of the hands and feet
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable working outdoors for the majority of the day.
