Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a permanent full-time Storeroom Attendant and Forklift Operator in Cumming, GA. The role handles inbound products like bolts, cables, and reels, using stand-up and sit-down forklifts, with a first shift from 6:30am to 2:30pm.

Responsibilities include packing, loading/unloading trailers, data entry into the WMS, and ensuring safety and housekeeping. Benefits include 401K, paid time off, and employee discounts. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification may be required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning accuracy.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and maintain facility security.
• Perform material moves and basic transactions per location policies.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and related functions.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
