Job summary

CHEERWINE BEVERAGE GROUP in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our distribution team. You will load/unload, move inventory using sit-down forklifts and assist with shipping/receiving logs and inventory records. This is a full-time role with daily responsibilities on a fast-paced warehouse floor.

Must have High School education; OSHA forklift training is provided. You will work Monday through Friday with $18.00-$22.00 hourly pay and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred; OSHA-certified forklift training provided.
• Valid driver's license, meets background criteria.
• May regularly lift up to 20 lbs and 40-50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting pick per hour goals.
• Be dependable and reliable to work Monday through Friday for the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inventory safely using sit-down forklifts and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Occasional use of a pallet jack, Electric
• Occasional use of a wrapping machine
• Verify accuracy by checking SKUs, checking for damage, and updating inventory by accurately completing shipping/receiving logs, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and inventory records.
• Move Tractor-Trailers around the distribution warehouse area
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace efficiently and perform down-stocking to ensure smooth inventory flow.
• Follow SOPs and safety

Description

Responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials around the warehouse and storage yard using forklifts and pallet jacks.
