Staff Management | SMX is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to move materials in our warehouse, load/unload shipments, and support shipping/receiving. The role emphasizes safety and inventory accuracy, with prior forklift experience preferred.

Shifts are 1st shift with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and potential overtime; benefits include medical/dental insurance and weekly pay. Employment type is full-time with temp-to-hire prospects, located at Allegion / Next Door facility in Hialeah, FL.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
• Able to read and follow shipping documents and labels.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Receive, inspect, and stage incoming materials.
• Pick, move, and deliver materials to designated locations.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and verify quantities.
• Maintain organized inventory locations.
• Perform material transfers and assist with counts.
• Inspect products for damage or discrepancies.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA rules, and forklift practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and communicate with teams.
