Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Forklift Operator to support safe operations, load and unload materials, and maintain warehouse organization in our concrete division.

This role requires at least 1 year of forklift or construction experience, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a strong commitment to safety. Flexibility to travel between company facilities as needed is also requested.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to load/unload materials and maintain warehouse/stock yard.
• Performs forklift inspections and reports issues to maintenance.
• Performs general clean-up and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Adheres to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• May travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
• Maintains professional attitude when interacting with peers, contractors and the public.
• Stands for long periods in hot or current conditions during tests.
• Performs other related duties as required, including travel to other facilities.
