Job summary

Kenco Logistics in California is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload and stack products for shipping and receiving. You will use lift equipment such as sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker devices, while performing cycle counts and inventory updates as needed.

The role requires at least two years of forklift experience, and a valid forklift operator license or the ability to obtain one. A high school diploma is preferred and a background/drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials; stack and transport to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels; complete paperwork as needed.
• Perform daily safety inspections per the checklist on forklift trucks.
• Complete cycle counts and assist with inventory as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and report incidents to supervisor; assist with housekeeping.
