Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Alabama to safely operate powered industrial equipment for loading, unloading, and inventory movement. The role requires prior forklift experience and a valid license or ability to obtain one, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

The position involves using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, scanning, labeling, and updating inventory records, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered industrial equipment including sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamps or pickers.
• Must possess a forklift operator license or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory systems and labeling.
• Commitment to safety procedures and SQFI/FDA compliance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, unload, and store products.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas in a timely, organized manner.
• Scan products and print labels as required for traceability.
• Complete paperwork and use inventory systems for cycles counts and receiving/shipping records.
• Perform daily safety inspections and housekeeping duties as needed.
