Job summary

Piston Group in Michigan is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move, stack, count stock and support production. You will offload inbound shipments, verify documents, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting damaged materials, communicating effectively, cooperating with teammates, and following OSHA/ISO/MSDS standards while operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification (Piston Certification) required.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and initiate action for damaged or defective material.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisor.
• Work well with others and maintain a clean, orderly area.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security.
• Conduct operations safely and in compliance with standards.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and document issues.
• Stay aware of pedestrians and other vehicles; follow safety rules.
• Assist in physical inventories.
