Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move goods in a busy warehouse. You will operate powered industrial trucks, follow safety procedures, and assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.

You will also help with packing, picking, and dispatching orders, while maintaining accurate records and clean work areas. Applicant should have a high school diploma and basic math skills; forklift certification or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months relevant experience and/or training in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within required timeframe.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills for inventory and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Record daily equipment logs and inspections.
• Maintain forklift and equipment by checking gauges and fuel/charge levels.
• Unload, receive, and store goods; check for damage and discrepancies.
• Load trucks, prepare shipments, and verify quantities.
• Assist in inventory counts and maintain safety standards.
