Job summary

ID Logistics in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Material Handler to operate gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stocking and staging, daily equipment inspection, and safe operation according to OSHA standards. Assist in inventories and coordinate with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA).
• Must wear PPE as required by safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered equipment.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily and maintain it in good condition.
• Operate equipment safely following OSHA standards.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Keep inventory records and assist in physical inventories.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
