Job summary

Stratas Foods in Fresno, CA is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our operations team. This on-site role requires handling sit-down electric and propane forklifts, moving pallets, and maintaining safety and GMP standards.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse environment. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down electric and propane forklifts.
• Adhere to GMP and safety procedures across the workspace.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
• Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Follow GMP and Safety guidelines.
• Pick customer orders as required.
• Inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials needed.
• Inspect trailers prior to loading and unloading product. Document onto paper form.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Able to drive into bays to enter or exit pallets of product, four tiers high.
• Willingness to be trained in Shipping, Receiving, Take-off, Palletizing and Shuttling.
