Job summary

CHEP is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Livonia, MI facility. You will operate sit-down forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment, move pallets, inspect equipment, and support safe, efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull loads as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift to move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant.
• Inspect forklift prior to use and report issues to maintenance.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks or containers with pallets.
• Maintain safety and comply with PPE and procedures.
