Job summary

Lineage is seeking a dedicated forklift operator for our Wilmington, IL facility on 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday). You will load, unload, and store palletized goods, use RF tools to record items, and perform daily forklift maintenance.

The role requires lifting at least 40 lbs, working in cold or dry storage environments, and adapting to a busy warehouse. Lineage offers competitive hourly pay, shift differential, and benefits as part of a stable team.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge and keep equipment at proper charging station.
