Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Monroe, OH to move pallets and support production across the warehouse. You will operate forklifts, sort pallets by hand, and help repair damaged pallets as needed.

This role emphasizes safety and reliability; you'll follow company procedures, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and work the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm. High school diploma or GED is required, forklift certification preferred, and overtime may be required.

• 1-3 years forklift experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with care, following safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort pallets when required and repair damaged pallets.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned within the warehouse.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

$19.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

What You'll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment

• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times

• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required

• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required

• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Forklift certification preferred

• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
