Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Kissimmee, FL to move pallets through the warehouse and support production needs. The role involves loading/unloading, sorting pallets, and possibly repairing pallets by hand with a nail gun.

Day shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with hourly pay of $17.00. With a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency, the operator will maintain clean work areas, comply with PPE requirements, and be ready for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years forklift experience preferred, not required.
• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics is strongly preferred.
• Willing to work in a labor-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with care, following safety procedures.
• Hand-sort wooden pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr.

What You'll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
