48forty-Solutions, LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator in Fort Pierce, FL to move pallets and support production areas. The role involves loading/unloading customer trailers, sorting pallets by hand, and performing pallet repairs as needed.

You will operate Relogistics forklift equipment safely, adhere to procedures, and work overtime as required. The site offers competitive pay and benefits in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00-18.00/hr.

3rd Shift: Saturday-Monday 5:00am-3:30pm4th Shift: Saturday-Monday 5:00pm-5:30am

What You'll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment

• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times

• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required

• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required

• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Forklift certification preferred

• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision

• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
