Job summary

Relogistics Services is seeking a Forklift Operator in Carrollton, GA. The role involves moving pallets, loading/unloading trailers, and supporting production needs while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include pallet sorting by hand, pallet repair where needed, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, forklift experience, and be willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Job description

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay

$17.00/hr.

What You’ll Do

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
