Job summary

48forty Solutions in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload trailers and move pallets within our plant to keep production moving efficiently. Pay starts at USD 17.00 per hour with 1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities include unloading pallets, moving wood to work areas, stacking products in trailers or storage, and maintaining a safe environment on the floor. Prior forklift experience and a willingness to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to load and unload trailer with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently! We’re looking for a motivated individual who will keep things moving at a safe and efficient pace!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant

• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area

• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height

• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind

What You'll Need

• 1-3 years of forklift experience

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
