Job summary

Polytainers in Missouri is seeking a Forklift Operator to support the Warehouse and Molding/Printing departments. You will move materials and finished products, store items, and build skids for shipment while ensuring accurate scanning and inventory control.

You will operate a forklift/reach truck, perform daily safety checks, and follow HACCP requirements. A high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of forklift experience are required, with strong English communication skills and basic math

Qualifications

Educational requirements include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of three years forklift experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
Must have good command of English both verbal and written.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy of all scanning transactions in the LX system and physically move product throughout the warehouse.
Pick orders as requested.
Load trucks as requested.
Support inventory control and/or QC as directed by the supervisor.
Assemble customer orders per specifications and build skids for shipment when required.
Fulfill all HACCP requirements and report any critical control point non-conformances.
Maintain safe work practices and follow all safety rules.
Store finished and unfinished product in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain forklift/reach truck and conduct daily vehicle checks.
Gather, weigh, log transfer and load scrap as required.
Organize skids to improve warehouse efficiency.
Keep the warehouse orderly and perform housekeeping tasks as required.
