Job summary

XPO, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Night Shift in Burnsville, MN to sort, load and unload freight on a non-climate-controlled dock. The role demands safety adherence and flexibility to work nights and weekends.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, scan shipments, and secure cargo inside trailers. Health insurance starts on day one, plus PTO, sick leave, holidays and a 401(k) match. Earn with a pay range of $24.37 to $29.93 per hour, plus a $1.80/hour night premium.

Minimum qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator

• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry

• Forklift experience in a freight or less-than-truckload (LTL) environment

• Experience loading and unloading trailers

• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed

About the Forklift Operator job

Pay, benefits and more:

• Expected pay range: $24.37 to $29.93 per hour. Pay is on an annual step progression. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set

• Additional $1.80/hour shift premium for nights

• Shift: Night, M-F 21:00 - 5:30

• Full health insurance benefits are available on day one

Forklift Operators are required to:

• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 70 lbs.)

• Safely walk and stand for extended periods on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may be slippery

• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary
