Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Warehouse forklift operator at our Bridgeview, IL facility. This on-site role handles forklift duties, stock handling, and cycle counting to support daily distribution operations.

You will verify shipments, input purchase orders in SAP, and use RF scanners/WMS to pull and label inventory, while following all safety policies and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete and maintain a fork truck drivers certificate / certification program.
• Experience with RF Scanners or WMS systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders.
• Receive in purchase orders into SAP.
• Load trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pull products using pick tickets and RF scanners.
• Receive incoming shipment against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Communicate shortages, overages, or damaged goods to Shipping Clerks/Leads.
• Label and scan materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep warehouse and docks clean and organized.
• Follow all plant safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $20.00/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
