Premium Peanut is hiring a forklift operator in South Carolina to load, unload, and move materials within our peanut processing facility. You will ensure pallets and products are properly loaded, documented, and available for production while maintaining safe practices and GMP standards.
The role requires a valid forklift license, at least one year of experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety. Training on site will be provided as needed.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum one-year experience of forklift operation, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position is located in a peanut processing facility where constant exposure to peanut dust and particles is unavoidable. Due to the nature of the work environment, we may be unable to provide a reasonable accommodation for individuals with severe peanut allergies.
Additionally, this role requires working at elevated heights, including climbing ladders and platforms up to 60 feet. Individuals with a significant fear of heights or related conditions may find this aspect of the job challenging.
