Job Description: Forklift Operator at Tyson Foods

Job Responsibilities:

1. Drive a sit-down forklift to deliver products to the warehouse and production floor.
2. Perform housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness standards.
3. Work periodically on weekends and/or holidays, as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 3 months of work history operating material handling equipment (MHE).
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Receive, store, and organize incoming items according to warehouse standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned area.
• Keep records of daily pre-trip inspections.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, audit, and food safety standards.
• May work with production equipment and related technologies.
• Meet performance and productivity standards.
• Available to work all 3 shifts.
• Pass the Forklift Driving Skills test.

Physical Requirements: Must be willing and able to perform physical tasks such as carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, and walking/standing, with or without accommodations.

Previous Tyson employees have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to three employment periods.

• Work shift: 2nd shift (United States).
