Qualifications

• Ability to receive, unload and process incoming shipments with accuracy.
• Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.
• Dexterity and safety in performing tasks.
• Knowledge of materials handling and warehouse practices.
• Technical practices (precise, methodical).
• Work practices ensuring neat, clean, and orderly storage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and process incoming shipments; sort and stage items.
• Record and report overages, shortages, or damage per procedures.
• Unpack and break down shipments; stock items in designated areas.
• Conduct warehouse inventories and maintain tally lists during counts.
• Operate government vehicles (1.5–5 ton) to transport supplies and equipment.
• Operate forklifts (electric, gas, or diesel) lifting loads up to 10,000 pounds.
