Goodwill of Monocacy Valley in Frederick, MD is hiring for a warehouse role operating baling machines and a sit-down forklift. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour; you will transport materials and ensure safety and PPE usage.

You may be cross-trained to support the Retail Operations Center (ROC), including processing donations, following safety rules, and maintaining equipment. This is an entry-level opportunity with benefits.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must possess a Forklift Certification Certificate or be able to pass Certification.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Mansioni

• Safeguards company property, including donated goods.
• Reports theft or misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
• Safeguards equipment including forklifts and bale machines.
• Clears debris or material that could damage equipment.
• Ensures proper load handling and that each machine is in working order.
• Loads and unloads merchandise containers from trailers and straight trucks.
• Operates baling machine to compress goods into bales.
• Performs pre-shift forklift and tipper inspections.
• Follows Lockout/Tagout procedures when equipment is unsafe.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance.
