Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Material Handler in Chicago, IL. You will transport materials from finishing to shipping and manage pallet wrapping and forklift-driven loading of outbound goods.

The role requires English proficiency, ability to operate a forklift, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read and write in English.
• Must be able to operate forklift.
• Must be flexible: able to work other shifts, overtime and Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve loaded pallets from finishing area and transport them to shipping by forklift.
• Wrap loaded pallets with plastic wrap using shrink wrap machinery.
• Load finished materials onto outbound trucks by forklift.
• Perform daily forklift maintenance checks.
• Complete daily checklist including water and oil levels, brakes, and other forklift-related checks.
