Arnold Lumber Company in Attleboro, MA seeks an experienced Material Handler to support efficient yard and warehouse operations. You’ll pick and stage lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries, while delivering courteous service in person.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a family‑owned business with a long history in New England. Forklift certification and high school or GED are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED; Forklift Certified.
• Experience: Operating machinery, knowledge of building materials.
• Skills: Lift 80lbs, above head.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in a polite, professional manner and supporting their needs in the yard and warehouse.
• Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate handling, stacking, and storage of materials to maintain product integrity and minimize damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and proper signage placement per company standards.
• Support inventory and transfers by accurately pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols, including completing forklift inspections, maintaining required certifications, and adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations.
