Job summary

EmployHQ in Charlotte seeks a Warehouse Associate to prepare shipment labels, stage 3PL shipments, and manage inventory with handheld devices. You will inspect trailers, receive raw materials, and ensure accurate put-away in warehouse locations, supporting smooth logistics operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of forklift/warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain and maintain DOT/IATA certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum forklift/warehouse experience.
• Experience working in a chemical facility is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experienced, certified forklift operator.
• Must acquire and maintain DOT/IATA certification.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipment labels and documentation
• Pull finished goods from inventory storage locations (label, documentation, shrink wrap) and stage for third party logistic (3PL) and customer shipments.
• Ensure proper inventory count through the use of handheld devices.
• Inspect common carrier trailer and load customer shipment.
• Unload trailers of raw material from vendor and prepare for receipt (label containers, sample each lot, post AX receipt transaction) put away material into correct warehouse locations.
• Remove/put away new production.
• Prepare/document lab samples to customers via shipping software.
• Pick up packages/mail from delivery points and deliver to site recipients.
• Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
