Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a dependable Material Handler for the 7:00 am–3:30 pm shift to support production lines with raw materials and finished goods.

You will load and unload materials, operate a forklift, weigh items, inventory products, and ensure safety compliance. A GED is required and forklift certification within 30 days of starting is expected on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to become Forklift Certified within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Load trucks and secure product per customer requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage and supply production lines with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags or schedules.
• Keep production lines stocked with raw materials and inventory products as needed.
• Unload and stack material using lifting devices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
